The Hazara community in Afghanistan has faced relentless and systematic persecution based on their ethnicity and religious beliefs since the 1890s. In addition to enduring historic oppression, a new wave of persecution has reignited against women and minorities after the fall of Afghanistan to the Taliban on 15^th August 2021. The intersectional identities like the Hazara women fall into the most vulnerable situation under the current authoritarian regime. The Hazara Cultural House works to raise awareness about the unheard voices and untold stories of women and minorities to influence policy for change, and to promote protection of women’s and minorities’ rights.
